Bio
Jared Petteys & The Headliners is a homage to American Rockabilly roots. The band is comprised of self-taught Jared Petteys (Guitars/Vocals) Ron Reisner (Percussion/Vocals) and Tim Brennen (Upright Bass/Vocals) Established in 2018, and currently based in Charleston, SC, they record and perform a varied and unique style of Jump Blues and early Rock n’ Roll you’d hear out of the Original Sun Records. Their live shows are energy filled and nostalgic of 1950’s raucous back-alley juke joints and sock hops. With the combination of belting vocals, aggressive guitar licks, catchy melodies, and jumping rhythm section, the band has quickly made a name for themself.
The band has been the House Band for the Rockabillique Festivals in Charleston and Florida and perform as headliners locally and as opening acts for modern, well-known Rockabilly bands and artists, such as Olivia Jean, Wayne Hancock, Lee Rocker, Reverend Horton Heat, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
Their self-titled debut album received "top adds" on 98 Rock, 96k Rock, 105 The Bridge, Rockabilly Radio, and Garage 71.
Most recently they were nominated as 2020 Best Local Band in Charleston City Paper. They were also performed live on Fox local news in Cape Coral FL.
Jared Petteys & The Headliners’ first full-length album, I Ain’t Waiting, releasing September 4th, 2020, and is gearing up for a national and international tour in 2021.
